BREAD DISTRIBUTION -

Donate bread, save lives

As you are aware Afghans are on the brink of starvation, according to WHO 1 in 3 Afghans are in poverty. HRM wants to make a difference with the help of its donors by distributing bread to poverty stricken Afghans on a day to day basis. This is slightly different, HRM just requests a bakery to bake bread for the team to distribute in an area affected by natural disasters or war.

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Give food to the hungry, pay a visit to the sick and release (set free) the one in captivity (by paying his ransom).

Allah says in the Qur’an, ‘And whoever saves one [a life] – it is as if he had saved all of mankind’. (Qur’an, 5:32) Imagine this – every single time the clean water you donated saves someone’s life, it is as if you have saved all of mankind! It is ‘the best charity’ ‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’. [Abu Dawud]

Narrated/Authority of Umm Asim "Nubaisha, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah (saw), entered upon us when we were eating from a bowl. He said that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: "Whoever eats from a bowl and cleans it, the bowl will pray for forgiveness for him." [Hadith No: 3271]

The Prophet (saw) sacrificed for the one who could not sacrifice from his Ummah, one who bore witness to the Oneness of Allah and [his] Prophethood [Tabarani]
