Sponsor a Widow in Afghanistan

Life is tough for most Afghan people right now. Oppressive rulers, natural disasters and drought have put over 22 million people into poverty. And the catastrophic economic situation is making things even harder.

But some of the hardest hit people are female widows. Without the freedom to work, and in a country where there is no state benefit system, Afghan widows are often doomed to a future with no hope.

When you sponsor a widow in Afghanistan, you restore that hope and show that person that they are respected and valued. You provide a widow and her family with access to water, food and the basic human necessities.

How you can get involved

HRM believes in giving power to the volunteers and allows its volunteers to lead projects and fundraise so that their hearts and minds can be at ease knowing that the aid they have raised will get where it is needed. The charity and support is given to the right people, at the right time, every time.
