Human Relief Missions technical school offers orphans a unique opportunity to receive both education and practical skills. Recognising the economic challenges faced by families in Afghanistan. The apprenticeship model employed by the technical school allows orphans to engage in traditional learning activities based on the local curriculum such as reading, writing, and expressing their ideas. However, what sets this program apart is that for a significant portion of their school day, students get the chance to observe and learn directly from skilled mechanics in our workshops.

Our approach ensures that orphans not only gain academic knowledge but also acquire practical skills, providing them with a viable means of earning a steady living after completing their education. By integrating these real-world experiences into their schooling, the technical school offers a pathway for orphans to lead self-sufficient lives without the necessity of pursuing higher education or attending university. This holistic approach to education equips them with the tools to thrive and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.

We train teachers so that they give the best education possible, and support schools with milk and nutritional meals, to ensure that children are healthy enough to concentrate and learn. As well as this, we work with adults, teaching them in ways that work best for their situation and culture to facilitate learning in the safest way possible to transform lives.
