Health Services

Access to healthcare is a widespread challenge faced by many around the world. At Human Relief Mission, our focus is on supporting health and community well-being in developing countries. In these regions, vulnerable populations are disproportionately affected by infectious diseases, posing a direct threat to both individual health and economic stability, perpetuating the cycle of poverty.

Adding to the problem is that there isn't enough good healthcare for children in these areas, putting millions at risk of poor health and underdevelopment due to malnourishment. Human Relief Mission addresses these pressing concerns by deploying mobile health clinics to remote areas and promoting health and hygiene practices as well as distributing necessary health packages. Through these initiatives, we aim to combat the spread of infectious diseases, working towards a healthier and more resilient future for communities in need.

How your donations can help save lives

Being healthy isn't just about medicine – it's about everything in life. That's why we teach communities about eating right and staying healthy. Especially in Afghanistan where we have partnered with local schools and have set up school meal programs to stop children from getting malnourished.

But when people get sick, they need healthcare. In poor countries, there's often not enough of it so, Human Relief Mission gives them medicine and equipment. In Afghanistan one of our most successful programs is the Emergency Ambulance Service where we send ambulances to help sick and injured people in dangerous areas and in times of emergencies.

During crises, like disasters or conflicts, Human Relief Mission provides emergency help, like healthcare and clean water, to stop more people from getting sick. Our teams stick around to do long-term projects, such as setting up temporary shelters, creating water aid programs and building new facilities to keep people healthy.

Hygienepacks

In developing countries, the necessity to distribute hygiene packs is crucial. Many individuals in these regions can afford to buy necessities, such as toothpaste, soap and other hygiene products. The lack of resources to maintain cleanliness poses a significant risk to health, making communities vulnerable to preventable illnesses. By providing hygiene packs, we aim to bridge this gap, offering essential items that contribute not only to personal well-being but also to the prevention of health complications. This initiative is a crucial step toward ensuring that individuals, particularly those in underserved communities, can uphold better hygiene practices and safeguard their overall health.

Medical Camps

In developing countries, pop-up medical camps are crucial, particularly in the aftermath of disasters. These camps serve as vital hubs for delivering immediate healthcare to communities facing disruptions in their regular medical services. In these situations, accessing a health centre can be a significant struggle, with some located miles away. When natural disasters, such as earthquakes or floods, occur, these temporary facilities step in quickly to bridge the gap. They play a pivotal role in ensuring that people, who might otherwise face challenges reaching a distant health centre, receive timely medical attention. These pop-up camps offer a rapid response to health challenges, acting as a lifeline for communities during difficult times.
