Help Women Work in Afghanistan

Help Women Work in Afghanistan

After years of progress for women’s rights in Afghanistan, the return to Taliban rule has seen almost all women denied the opportunity to work. Only those women engaged in roles in primary education or health care are permitted to work – but many are not being paid due to the ongoing financial crisis.

By donating to our Afghanistan emergency appeal, you can help women work in Afghanistan. Taking away the right to work does more than just deprive families of much-needed income, but it also removes purpose, ambition and a feeling of self-worth.

We believe that women in Afghanistan should have the right to work and that their rights, which have been massively stripped by the ruling Taliban, should be given back to them.

We advocate the freedom of movement, the removal of inhumane restrictions and a return to women in the workplace. With your help, we achieve that.
